McDavid compression products are ideal for protection from muscle strains and pulls or post-injury support in virtually all sports that require extensive running or jumping.  While we've designed most of our compression products with unisex sizing that fits men, women and children, we also have women-specific tops and shorts for the needs of female athletes.

Our shorts and girdles feature 4-way stretch fabric for superior comfort, fit and durability, and to provide firm compression of the upper legs, abdomen and groin.  The high-rise back cut allows the shorts to remain where they're supposed to be and not creep downward.

Our Deluxe 800 series Compression products are made of a 6.8 oz/sq.yd., lightweight 85% nylon/15% spandex fabric with Intera, a patented process that permanently bonds hydrophilic (water-loving) molecules to synthetic fabric surfaces.  What this means is that McDavid Deluxe Compression products will literally pull moisture away from your skin and spread it rapidly over a broad surface area to speed the evaporation process.  This keeps you drier and more comfortable even during the toughest workout, and results in increased performance and a more efficient use of your body's energy budget.

McDavid 700 Power Series Compression products feature an 80% nylon/20% Lycra blend 6.8 oz./sq.yd. fabric.  This fabric has been certified by DuPont to improve an athlete's performance by lowering power fatigue, endurance fatigue and strength fatigue by maintaining a specific level of compression*.  McDavid Power Series products incorporate all of the construction features of their Deluxe Compression counterparts, with the exception of Intera, and have a slightly lower price tag.
